A more welcoming and comfortable Puerto Galera takes another step forward as a public facility supported by the World Toilet Association (WTA) is formally turned over to the municipality during a ceremony at Muelle Terminal, Muelle Cultural Heritage Park. 

The initiative reflects the shared commitment of the local government, tourism agencies, and international partners to developing facilities that respond to the needs of the community and the growing number of visitors exploring the destination. The Municipality of Puerto Galera, led by Mayor Robinhood D. Ylagan, recognizes the contributions of WTA Senior Vice President Casey Killian, Suwon City Council Environment and Safety Committee Chairman Kim Kyuonglye, DOT Assistant Regional Director Gladys Quesea, and DOT–OTSR Director Vigilio Maguigad in bringing this initiative to fruition.
