Dive Sites
Puerto Galera is locally and internationally known for its diving sites. It is ideally situated within the Isla Verde Island Passage, the global center of marine biodiversity. Hence, the underwater world is rich, vibrant and unique. Its waters are home to vibrant coral reefs, rare macro life, and dramatic underwater landscapes.










West Escarceo
An exciting drift dive which finishes through the “Hole in the Wall”

Kilima Steps
A fantastic dive for the diversity of the fish and coral found here.

Pink Wall
A great location for night dives.

La Laguna Point
Extending from the beautiful white beach of Big La Laguna is very healthy coral reef that are teeming with fish life.

Sweetlips Corner
A school of yellow-ribbon sweet-lips is always found somewhere around this fantastic formation.

Alma Jane Wreck
The site is perfect for dive training, courses like nitrox, deep and of course wreck diver

Monkey Beach
This healthy colorful starts in very shallow water and slopes off to a sandy bottom

Sabang Wreck
Both wrecks are fantastic to dive at night, resembling small cities, crawling with crabs, shrimps and prawns.

Odie’s Wall
Marine animals that can be seen in this area are thorny oysters, triggerfishes, eels and occasionally, manta rays.

Coral Cove
A wonderful dive site for macro lovers. A sloping reef ends in a small wall at 20m that follows the reef along for quite some time.

St. Christopher
The wreck has become the home for juvenile snapper, batfish and other reef fish.

Japanese Wreck
Two very large Moray Eels are resident, along with many Sweetlips and a wealth of small invertebrates.

The Hill
It is a great site for macro photography and is beat dived at slack tide.

Medio Island Coral Garden
This site gives an opportunity for more exploration

Sabang Point
The healthy reef is abundant with fish life, when the current is “running”.

Mamuds Reef
Site has an average depth of 24m with a maximum depth of 45m.

Hibo Reef
Most of the best picturesque coral can be seen in this area.

Fish Bowl
This dive requires a blue water descent to the top of the Fish Bowl (40m/132ft.)

Dungon Wall
This wall has a colorful assortment of nudibranchs; a good site for macrophotography.

San Antonio Point Coral Garden
Has underwater views of corals and varieties of marine animals

The Atoll
The rock face is spotted with small morays eels and nudibranchs, and clouds of small reef fish hover over the reef.

Monkey Wreck
Because of the Depth and the blue water descent to the wreck (40m/132ft), this site is only for advanced and technical divers.

Boulders
The site is covered with different shaped and sized boulders creating swim-throughs and caves and lots of hiding places for marine life

Palangan- Tangalan Giant Clam Garden
Fantastic dive site for beginners with 60-year old clams

Dry Dock
Steel and plywood construction which was originally designed to lift small boats out of the water.

Hole in the wall
A tremendous rock and coral formation resembling a mini mountain, home for wide range of flora and fauna.

Ernie’s Cave
This site is best at slack tide as strong cross (Eddy) currents are common during tidal changes.

Sabang Point
The healthy reef is abundant with fish life

For beginners and slightly advanced divers

Deep dive with abundant nudibranch

The Hill
The diversity of hard and soft corals, fans and sponges make it an interesting site to visit.

Turtle Rock
Turtle Rock is a great dive site for divers with deep diver training.

Batangas Channel
There is a huge variety of small tropical fish in this area.

Shark Cave
A short swim from this cave is a ledge where smaller sharks can be seen.
